Charlisa Watson, LMSW
My name is Charlisa and I enjoy working with diverse populations from various cultural backgrounds including teens, young adults, adults and families who struggle to cope with life’s curveballs, setbacks and obstacles. I am an Atlanta native and an Army Veteran with a professional background in grief counseling, complex trauma, crisis intervention, substance use prevention, emotion dysregulation, anxiety and depression.
In addition to working with individuals, I enjoy facilitating group therapy sessions for people who benefit from a supportive, non-judgmental environment surrounded by people with similar struggles.
My therapy methods include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectic Behavioral Therapy which is especially effective for people who have difficulty managing and regulating their emotions.
I received my MSW from Clark Atlanta University and BSW from Georgia State University.
I am now currently accepting new clients for virtual therapy. Currently, I can accept Cigna Insurance and Self Pay only. Call now to find out my affordable prices.
I look forward to working with you to get started on your journey to a better life!
